Plant a seed at the surface and watch its roots drive down through the strata: topsoil, limestone, clay, crystal, and stranger layers below. Each root grows glowing nodes of light. Harvest them into reagents, carry them to your workbench, and distill remedies to discover new recipes. Clients slip orders beneath your door and pay in Dust for what you brew.

But the deep is not empty. Blight creeps upward from below, and the dormant organism you are digging toward sends things to gnaw at your roots. Fight them by hand, station Sigil Guardians to defend your network, and ward the soil against corruption. Every substrate gate you breach trades safety for new depth.

Go deep enough and the organism wakes. It notices you, and it pushes back with waves, blight surges, and assaults that only preparation survives. Fall, and the Mycelial Memory remains: you begin again, stronger. The deeper you go, the more brutal it gets.

When you have gone as deep as you can, compost everything into a Seed Core and begin again, wiser and faster, carrying the memory of every cycle.

A living garden that keeps growing while you are away. Dip in to harvest, distill, descend.

Harvest the light beneath the world.
